We Build Bridges

About Us

A trustworthy partner you can rely on

Bridge It NZ specialise in building small to medium size bridges (6m-50m) to help unlock the potential of your land.

Whether you are moving stock, forestry logs, private or heavy vehicles, cyclists or pedestrians, we can build a high-quality bridge that will stand the test of time and meet your exact requirements, providing great value for money.

Our company was founded by Pat Seuren in 2009 and we have successfully completed more than 300 bridge projects since then. Our team works with farmers, forestry companies, councils, property developers, private property owners, golf courses and engineering consultants right across New Zealand.

Bridge It NZ is proud to offer a total project management solution from start to finish and a ‘no surprises’ pricing policy. Not one of our bridges has ever failed to gain resource consent or a code of compliance.

We are sensitive to the environment and our bridges are designed to withstand a variety of different flood scenarios. Our vehicle bridges are designed to the NZTA Bridge Manual and our experienced team constantly strive to improve the safety, design and standard of bridges throughout New Zealand.

A well-designed bridge will improve access to your land and deliver tremendous value. We look forward to working with you.

What Others Say

I would happily give my full endorsement of Bridge It NZ to anyone needing to construct a bridge.

Earlier this year I recruited Bridge It NZ to construct a bridge suitable for carrying 50 tonne logging units across a significant waterway inland from Tokomaru Bay on the East Coast. Right from my initial enquiry I found Bridge It very professional to deal with.  They responded quickly with a site visit, followed by a survey of the site and provided a quote.  The staged payment process was transparent and costs remained as quoted and within budget.  There were no hidden costs. Bridge It handled the design, Resource Consenting and construction of the bridge. The outcome is we  have a very well constructed and serviceable 30m bridge that we are very happy with.

I would have no hesitation in using Bridge It NZ in the future or referring others to do the same.

"We like that there were no surprises / price changes despite the variations required and were pleased that Bridge It could adjust their approach as needed. Nothing was too much trouble. All contractors worked together well time wise and we were happy with Bridge It’s approach to NZTA requirements.

We will definitely use Bridge It NZ again."

"Working along side Bridge IT NZ was something my team and I at Adecco really enjoyed, the collaboration was first class. We knew where things were with regard to timeline and requirements of the project at all times. We were informed in advance of any changes happening which affected our team and felt confident that Bridge It were one step ahead of the game.

In my opinion they are a company who knows their strengths, executes the well and ensures the safety and wellbeing of not only their own employees but all sub-contractors working for them."

"Our Council clients have been thrilled with the professionalism, quality and competitively priced outcomes of Bridge It NZ bridges. The jobs have been complex or involved out the way locations, consents and community involvement; however BridgeIt NZ handled everything just fine. The Waihi Beach Trig Trail bridge (for the Waihi Beach Cycle Trail Community Trust and Western Bay of Plenty District Council) still receives effusive compliments and the two Kopurererua valley bridges for Tauranga City Council have been hugely popular. The main complements we give and hear about is their structured planning, the speed of installation, meticulous safety procedures, fun people to work with, on-time and on-budget project management and their no-fuss approach. They just make you want to find more places to put a bridge!"

"I needed a bridge-building process that would overcome all the logistic hurdles associated with being on an island in the Hauraki Gulf. Bridge It NZ delivered two bridges on their truck via the car ferry along with all the service equipment required.  The two bridges were then installed over a three-week period, with local contractors helping with earthworks. There were no issues or problems and their crew were friendly and efficient, working long days through weekends and bad weather. In addition, Bridge It NZ and Tiaki Engineering managed the resource consent application – relieving me of that particularly frustrating job. Overall – an excellent outcome with two strong, attractive bridges built in quick time." "I have been totally impressed with the job you have done here. A big thank you to the whole team."
